HTML Is a Meaning Contract
Explain why semantic HTML should be chosen before visual styling.
The first job of HTML is to encode meaning, not appearance. Meaning before styling HTML gives the browser a document model. That model is read by more than sighted users looking at pixels. It is read by accessibility APIs, keyboard navigation, browser defaults, search engines, automated tests, and teammates.
