Choose a Drift Response
Select the appropriate response when live infrastructure drifts from declared configuration.
Drift alert Argo reports orders-api at 12 replicas live while Git declares 6. A launch email created unusual traffic, and nobody has opened a PR. The wrong response either drops capacity during a spike or turns a console exception into undocumented desired state. GitOps drift triage Revert, timebox, or codify Treat drift as a fork in desired-state ownership. The live system may be wrong, temporarily right, or permanently teaching you that Git is stale.
