Repair After Exclusion

Repair is inclusion under real conditions. It turns a bad moment into evidence that the team can correct itself. Name the pattern Use plain language: "We moved past Alex's point" or "That idea was first raised by Mei." Avoid a courtroom tone. Restore the floor or credit Do not simply apologize. Give the person back the contribution: time to finish, attribution in notes, or decision weight. Adjust the process Ask what changes because of the contribution. Repair is incomplete if the meeting politely moves on again.
