Turn a Lead Brief into a SMART Scope

Write a SMART scope statement that makes room, outcome, deliverable, and deadline explicit.

A lead wants "the downstairs finished before summer," but the studio needs a proposal that can be priced and defended. Use SMART to convert vague design ambition into a scope statement. The common trap is using inspiring language in the proposal while leaving room count, revision count, budget responsibility, and deadline undefined. Specific Name the spaces: entry, living room, dining area. Name deliverables: concept, layout, palette, specification package. Specific scope limits the physical and creative territory.
