Normalize a Request Table
Normalize a flat request spreadsheet into related records that support workflow and reporting.
A flat product operations tracker mixes customers, escalations, product gaps, actions, and leadership notes in one table. Normalize only enough to give each durable object its own identity, owner, and lifecycle. The tempting shortcut is to add more columns to the flat table. That makes the grid look complete but keeps workflow logic dependent on human interpretation. Step 1 Circle every noun that has its own lifecycle: Customer, Escalation, Product Gap, Action.
