Close the Change With Evidence

Run a post-implementation review that converts change outcomes into process improvement.

The closure decision needs evidence. A post-implementation review should answer four questions. Did the change deliver the intended outcome? Did it create incidents, tickets, performance issues, security drift, or user confusion? Did the team follow the approved plan, including backout criteria? What should change in the next runbook, test, monitor, approval path, or communication? Outcome signal Use the service metric that matters: success rate, latency, batch completion, login completion, ticket deflection, or data quality.
