Calculate Opportunity from Outcomes

Apply ODI-style opportunity thinking to choose a target outcome.

Choose between three candidate outcomes for a compliance workflow. Opportunity increases when importance is high and satisfaction is low. The trap is chasing the angriest quote or the lowest satisfaction score without asking whether the outcome is important to enough customers. Step 1 Outcome A: “customize report labels” = importance 4, satisfaction 2. Low satisfaction, but low importance. Improving it may not change buying behavior.
