Control Loops Beat Heroics
Apply PDCA to recurring logistics exceptions instead of relying on expediting.
The teach PDCA is a learning loop for recurring operational problems. Plan states the expected condition and hypothesis. Do tests a contained change. Check compares actual results with the prediction. Act standardizes, adjusts, or abandons the change. In logistics, this works because the operation cannot pause for perfect analysis. A bounded test on one lane, shift, exception type, or handoff can replace heroic expediting with repeatable standard work. Visual modules Use stat tiles for the signal, a before-after panel for the changed decision, and a marigold common-trap callout for the shortcut to avoid.
