Define point of operation as a danger zone and apply that definition to routine setup and clearing tasks.
Point of operation means the danger zone around the work. A narrow definition leads to narrow guards. If you only mark the blade, punch, drill, die, or cutter, you may miss where hands go during loading, aligning, clearing, and removing material.
