The test: would this support still hold if the stakeholder saw your full reasoning? Check 1: Clear Frame Pre-suasion is ethical when it foregrounds a legitimate decision criterion. It becomes suspect when it hides cost, risk, impact, or uncertainty until after people lean yes. A clear frame names the tradeoff early enough for stakeholders to use it.
