FAIR turns availability into usability. A table can be available and still not be a usable product. FAIR gives you four checks that expose the gap: can consumers find it, access it, combine it, and reuse it without private detective work? Findable and accessible Findable products have names, owners, descriptions, tags, and stable identifiers. Accessible products have a governed path to request and use the data. The key is not open access for everyone; it is a clear route for the right users.
