Design status feedback that tells users what happened, what is happening, and what comes next.
A status gap is a trust gap. The loop Every meaningful user action needs a visible loop: input, system response, and new state. Immediate feedback tells the user the action registered. Progress feedback tells them the system is still working. Result feedback tells them whether the task is done or needs repair. The design test Cover the user action with your hand and ask: after the click, can the user tell whether anything happened? Cover the backend logs and ask: can the interface itself explain the state?
