Build Your Trigger Map
Create a trigger map that links recurring cues to stories, body signals, and preferred responses.
A trigger map converts repetition into preparation. Most workplace triggers are not random. They repeat around status, control, fairness, exclusion, competence, or overload. Mapping them gives you a prefrontal plan before the amygdala-style alarm is active. The point is not to diagnose yourself. It is to know what sentence you want available under pressure. Use five columns: cue, body signal, story, reappraisal, chosen response. STOP remains the live sequence, but the map makes Observe and Proceed easier because you have seen the pattern before.
