Create a RACI map for closeout tasks so responsibility and accountability are not blurred.
End-of-night closeout has recurring gaps: open tabs, unclear cash variances, and missed security checks. RACI separates Responsible doers, one Accountable owner, Consulted advisors, and Informed recipients. The common trap is saying "the closing team owns it," which sounds collaborative but hides the finish-line owner. List outcomes Define the closeout outcomes: all tabs closed, cash variance signed, wastage logged, cellar and exits secured. RACI works on outcomes, not vague activity.
