Structure an urgent marina handoff using Situation, Background, Assessment, and Recommendation.
A clear radio call tells the next person what to do, not just what you feel. Situation Say what is happening now: vessel, location, immediate concern. Keep it short enough that the listener can picture the scene. Background Add only the facts that change the response: wind, tide, equipment failure, guest status, fuel type, injury, prior instruction, or access constraint. Background is not the whole story. Assessment and Recommendation State what you think the operational issue is, then make a request.
