Build a concrete marketing artifact with STP (Segmentation, Targeting, Positioning).
A sales brief says "a modern analytics platform for growing teams," and sales cannot use it in a real conversation. STP (Segmentation, Targeting, Positioning) turns vague marketing into a sequence of explicit choices. The common trap is polishing language before the buyer, job, proof, and success metric are clear.
