Measure the Second Call, Not the Demo
Explain why an API product should be judged by repeat use and time-to-value rather than launch optics.
The real product moment A signup or generated key tells you interest. It does not tell you whether the API is usable enough to become part of a workflow. The better question is: did the developer come back and succeed again? Apigee's API product model is useful here because it treats the offer as a package of access, operations, and limits.
