Frame an occupational therapy referral around participation and occupational performance before selecting interventions.
Manage the case around the occupation that carries the decision. The before -> after Before: CVA evaluation, left neglect, ADL training. After: breakfast safety at home, left-side scanning at stove, spouse unavailable during the risk window. The common trap A diagnosis can start a referral, but it cannot manage the case.
