Recall practical distinctions between payment instruction, acceptance, settlement, return, and investigation language.
battlecard Definition Payment instruction accepted The receiving system accepted the instruction for processing. It does not necessarily mean funds have settled or are available to the beneficiary. Compare Accepted vs. settled Do not use accepted as a synonym for settled. Objection But the bank accepted it, so why can you not release the funds? Customer wants availability before settlement evidence. Your line Accepted means the instruction entered the bank process.
