Demonstrate exploitability with enough business context for prioritization while minimizing harm.
The teach A proof of exploit is not the same as maximum exploitation. In a professional test, evidence exists to support analysis and mitigation. You need enough proof to establish exploitability and impact, but not so much that the demonstration becomes a new source of harm. Use minimum sufficient demonstration. Identify the security property that failed: authentication, authorization, isolation, input handling, encryption, logging, or availability. Then choose the least invasive evidence that proves that property failed. For code execution, a benign command and marker may be enough.
