Sustain with PDCA, not reminders
Use PDCA to maintain and improve a 5S standard over time.
The move: make Sustain a feedback loop. A 5S standard is only useful if it keeps matching real work. PDCA is the lightweight loop that does that. Plan: define the standard, owner, timing, and evidence. Do: run the work under the standard. Check: compare actual condition to expected condition. Act: update the standard or remove the friction that caused drift. This matters because audit scores can become theater. A team can clean before inspection, pass, and still waste time every day.
