Store the Minimum Necessary Memory
Apply data minimization to decide the smallest durable memory that still supports the agent job.
Memory should preserve the action, not the entire conversation. Data minimization is a practical memory-quality rule. The durable memory should contain only what is necessary for the future purpose. That usually means a constraint, preference, decision, exception, or follow-up, not every sentence that led to it. Adequate The memory has enough detail to support the future task. "Use the approved renewal clause" is too vague if there are three clauses. Relevant The memory belongs to the agent job. A personal aside may be true and recent but irrelevant to the workflow.
