Make the model use sources, not memory
Use source-first drafting to reduce hallucinated, stale, or unsupported AI content claims.
Source-first drafting means you define the evidence before asking for prose. Use a source pack for any content that contains facts, claims, product details, pricing, customer stories, compliance language, or market data. The pack can include approved URLs, pasted excerpts, interview notes, product release notes, brand guidance, and do-not-say constraints. The model's instruction should say whether it can use only those sources or whether it can flag gaps for a human to fill. The mechanism is control of uncertainty. Models produce fluent continuations.
