Start AI analysis with the finance question, not the dataset
Frame an AI-assisted finance analysis as a business question before exploring data.
The move: write the finance question before you upload the data. CRISP-DM is useful because it keeps analytics from becoming a tool-first exercise. Its first phase is business understanding: define the objective, constraints, success criteria, and decision context. Only then do you move into data understanding and preparation. AI makes this discipline more important, not less. A model can inspect a file and generate a confident list of "insights" quickly. But insight is not the same as decision support.
