Start the AI Test Plan with the Risk
Create an AI testing charter that starts from product risk instead of tool capability.
The move: write the risk before the test. AI testing expands fast because prompts, inputs, model versions, retrieval context, and user intent all multiply the state space. A risk-first charter keeps that expansion under control. Start by naming the decision or output the AI system influences. Then name the harm if that output is wrong, stale, unsafe, biased, or overconfident. Only after that should you ask AI to help generate tests.
