Make handoffs survive the noise
Use SBAR to deliver an airport shift handoff that includes context, assessment, and a requested action.
The move: do not hand off a topic; hand off a decision-ready briefing. SBAR gives the receiving manager four pieces of information in a fixed order: Situation, Background, Assessment, Recommendation. The order matters because each part answers a different question. Situation What is happening now? Keep this current and concrete: aircraft, gate, belt, lane, queue, contractor, time, or asset.
