Start with the job, not the headset
Use a Jobs to Be Done lens to define the business job an AR or VR idea must improve.
The move: make the business job visible before the technology choice. Jobs to Be Done asks what progress a person is trying to make in a real situation. In AR/VR work, that prevents the team from starting with the most visible artifact: headset, demo, 3D model, or virtual room.
