Remember the fairness guardrails
Use fairness and accessibility guardrails when reviewing assessment tasks.
FAIR What does FAIR remind you to check? Accommodation vs construct change Approve accommodations that remove irrelevant barriers. "Same assessment means identical conditions for everyone." Your line "Same score meaning matters more than identical friction. If a barrier is not part of the construct, removing it protects fairness." Identical is not always equitable. It ties fairness to validity, not preference. What is construct-irrelevant difficulty? Difficulty caused by features outside the target skill, such as confusing wording, inaccessible controls, or unnecessary cultural references. Remove it unless that feature is explicitly part of the objective.
