Use SBAR to hand over a bar station with the current state, relevant context, risks, and next action.
The move: hand off the state of the bar, not the contents of your brain. SBAR stands for Situation, Background, Assessment, Recommendation. For bartending, Situation is the current operational fact: who is waiting, what is short, what is open, what is blocked. Background is the context: the guest already complained, the keg kicked twice, the tab has a manager note, the new bartender has not been trained on that batch.
