Belonging has three signals

Diagnose a belonging gap by separating fair treatment, valued uniqueness, and voice in decisions.

The diagnostic: if belonging feels vague, split it into three observable signals. The phrase "people feel included" can hide the real problem. A better diagnosis asks three questions. Are people treated fairly? Are their differences useful rather than merely tolerated? Do they have voice in decisions that affect their work? Fairness: the rules feel real People watch who gets access to information, feedback, stretch work, exceptions, forgiveness, and credit.
