Build a reorder point for brake pads

Calculate a reorder point from lead-time demand and safety stock.

A common brake pad sells about 12 pairs per week. Supplier lead time is 4 days. Nadia wants enough buffer for a small weekend spike. Reorder point = demand during supplier lead time + safety stock The common trap is ordering when the bin looks low.
