Classify FASTA, FASTQ, SAM/BAM, VCF, and GFF/GTF by the type of information they store.

Place each common file type in the bucket that best describes its primary job. Raw reads and quality Reference or assembled sequence Read alignments Variant calls Feature annotations FASTQ: reads plus per-base quality scores FASTA: reference genome or assembled contig sequence SAM: text alignment records with flags and CIGAR BAM: compressed binary alignment records VCF: variants with genotype and quality evidence GTF/GFF: gene, transcript, exon, and feature coordinates
