Charter the board around decisions
Write a customer advisory board charter that ties each session to a decision, a learning question, and a follow-through owner.
The move: make the charter answer, "What decision will this board improve?" A launch-grade CAB charter has four parts: decision, learning question, boundary, and owner. The decision explains why the board exists now. The learning question tells advisors what kind of experience you need from them.
