Build two windows: maker and manager
Design maker and manager windows that reduce context switching while preserving access.
Two windows reduce the negotiation load on your calendar. Maker Window A maker window is a protected stretch where the unit of progress is output: a deck, model, design, memo, analysis, or implementation pass. Name it by deliverable. "Deep work" is too vague; "pricing narrative draft" is defendable. Manager Window A manager window is where live collaboration belongs. This does not mean every meeting gets in.
