Send reliable candidate status updates within 48 hours of a waiting state. Candidate communication after screens, panels, debriefs, case reviews, and offer approvals. When a candidate reaches a waiting state and I do not have a decision within 48 hours, I will send a SANE update before ending my day: current status, what it means for them, the next checkpoint, and any agency they have.
