Use DMAIC to diagnose and improve a carbon-capture cost estimate.
Two marginal abatement cost numbers for the same capture project differ by USD 26 per tonne before the CFO review. DMAIC: Define -> Measure -> Analyze -> Improve -> Control The common trap is debating which number is "right" before checking whether the estimation process is controlled.
