Explain how bloom, pour height, and bed leveling improve even extraction without changing ratio.
Same coffee, same ratio, same 93 C water. What changed between the hollow cup and the round cup? Before: recipe held steady, flow path was uneven. After: same recipe, better wetting and flow. Bloom fully saturated the grounds, so escaping gas did not push water around dry pockets. Lower, steadier pouring reduced cratering, which made flow more even through the bed. A level bed reduced bypass along the wall, so extraction quality improved even with similar TDS.
