Use a closure note to reduce attention residue before switching tasks.
The move: close the loop before you switch. Task switching hurts most when the old task is still mentally alive. Your brain keeps checking the unresolved piece: what was I deciding, what was risky, what might I forget? That monitoring consumes capacity during the next task.
