Apply procedural justice to a real community-moderation appeal review by adding evidence, criteria, and next-step language before sending the decision. A member appeals a warning, suspension, removed post, or locked thread and the moderation team needs to reply without turning the appeal into an open-ended debate. For the next appeal I handle, I will add these two sentences before sending: "We reviewed [specific evidence] against [specific rule or norm]. The decision [stands/changes] because [brief reason], and the next valid step is [new context, waiting period, repost path, or closure]."
