Turn Complaint into Commitment

Convert a recurring complaint into a personal commitment and a testable assumption.

The move: use the complaint as the doorway, not the destination. A complaint usually contains a value. "No one debates strategy" may mean you value rigor. "This team avoids ownership" may mean you value reliability. The problem is that complaint alone keeps agency outside you. Immunity to Change asks what you are doing, not doing, or assuming that helps the current pattern continue. Commitment Translate the complaint into something you care about: "I am committed to useful disagreement before decisions are final."
