Map the gangway before you fix it

Use a service blueprint to separate guest-visible friction from backstage handoff failures during embarkation.

The move: map the service as guests experience it and crew produce it. A cruise operation turns invisible coordination into visible hospitality. When boarding slows down, the weak move is to ask the loudest department for a fix. Service blueprinting gives you a better lens: start with the guest action, then add what the guest sees, what crew do out of sight, what systems must be true, and what physical or digital evidence shapes trust.
