Write a recovery message that sounds human and competent

Compose a service-recovery message that acknowledges impact and provides credible next steps.

Draft to improve: "A deployment exception affected the data sync and we are investigating." Recovery message sequence: impact → ownership → next step → next checkpoint. The common trap is writing from the inside out. Teams begin with the technical issue because that is what they are discussing internally. Customers, however, first need to orient around impact and certainty.
