A dictionary is a key contract

The move: turn repeated search into a key-value contract. A dictionary, or map, stores values that are accessed by associated keys. The structure fits work where the question starts with "given this ID" or "for this name" rather than "at this position." Key A key should identify one value in the relevant context.
