Start with the gap, not the celebration
Explain how a logic model turns a DEI initiative into a testable outcome chain.
The move: make the causal chain visible before you celebrate the activity. Activity is not the same as change DEI work often produces visible artifacts: events, trainings, dashboards, toolkits, statements, and campaigns. Those can matter, but they are not proof of progress by themselves. A logic model keeps the team honest by naming the path from resources to action to evidence of change.
