Find the few no-show causes that matter

Use a Pareto view to prioritize the highest-leverage causes of dental no-shows and short-notice cancellations.

The move: rank causes before choosing fixes. Define the defect Separate no-show, short-notice cancellation, failed confirmation, and reschedule. Different defects need different countermeasures. Keep the reason list small Use five to seven primary tags: insurance uncertainty, cost concern, transportation, forgot, illness, long booking lag, schedule conflict. Too many tags make the chart unusable. Target the biggest controllable category The top category is not always controllable, but it tells you where to look first.
