Trace requirements to decisions, not wish lists
Create ERP requirement trace links from requirement to design decision, test evidence, and owner sign-off.
The move: build an evidence chain for the requirements that can hurt you later. Traceability matrices are often treated as compliance paperwork. In an ERP implementation, they are more useful as a decision memory. The row should answer: what business need did we accept, what design decision satisfied it, where was it configured or built, how was it tested, and who signed off?
