Use SBAR to Brief an Escalation in 60 Seconds
Build a concise escalation brief using Situation, Background, Assessment, and Recommendation.
SBAR makes urgency legible. In an escalation, the receiver needs to know four things fast: what is happening, what context matters, what you think it means, and what you need now. SBAR gives that order. Situation State the live issue and its immediate consequence. One or two sentences.
