ESCAPE-ROOM-BUSINESS5 MIN READ

Blueprint the guest journey behind the curtain

Map front-stage, back-stage, support, and evidence layers for a live escape-room visit.

The move: map the system, not just the guest path. Customer actions What the guest does: books, arrives, signs waivers, listens, plays, asks for hints, takes photos, leaves a review. Front-stage actions What staff do in view: greet, brief, monitor through visible cues, debrief, sell merchandise, recover from confusion. Back-stage and support What must work out of view: reset, battery checks, camera coverage, clue software, incident notes, cleaning, scheduling, and inventory. Blueprinting works because it turns vague service complaints into handoffs, wait points, and standards you can actually improve.
