Create an everyday anchor that is specific, reasoned, and adjustable inside a ZOPA.
A strong anchor gives the conversation a first shape. It does not force the final answer, but it changes what everyone adjusts from. Name the unit A useful anchor tells the other person what kind of agreement you are proposing: minutes, days, scope, dollars, review cycles, support hours, or decision rights.
