Classify the file before the link
Use a file's data classification to choose an appropriate sharing scope.
The move: label the data before you pick the link. A file's name, folder, or deadline does not tell you its sharing risk. The contents do. Classification turns the contents into a practical decision: public, internal, confidential, or restricted. Those labels should map directly to link choices. Public data can be broadly shared because disclosure is expected. Internal data belongs inside the organization or project group. Confidential data needs a narrower business audience.
